CJ is an accomplished and diverse musician and an attentive and capable teacher. During the eight years I have known him we have played many function and session gigs together. CJ gave me the best tutorials in my 2 years in music college. CJ showed me scales, modes, advanced techniques, basic and advanced music theory. He taught me a range of styles that ventured through many genres, one week I was studying Paul Gilbert the next week Mike Stern. Second to none.

I first heard CJ on the Fandalism site for musicians and was blown away by his playing. After several collaborative tracks together I’ve come to know him as a friend and all out good guy. As a player he is intuitive, smart and technically and theoretically sound. If you are looking to learn a few things about the guitar, whether you are a novice or expert, there is no other I would recommend more than CJ.

CJ is a walking encyclopedia of musical knowledge and a thoroughly decent bloke. C.j Berry is one of the most versatile and skilled players in the music scene today. His knowledge of guitar and music theory is second to none, if you want to play at a standard of excellence then there is no better tutor.
